it was amazing
bookshelves: historical-fiction

Gavin, a merchant prince, is sailing to London. He wants to become part of high society there. On his journey, he stops in the East INdies on an Island where he finds himself saving a European woman at a slave auction. However, Gavin can only have her if she participates in and wins an ancient slave tribal challenge. This is one of my favorite books by far. I was so drawn into the love story and passion between the two characters, and I am not usually the type of person who enjoys love stories. I definitely recommend this book!
