This will be popular in our library because MPH is my students' favorite author, due to her Shadow Children series. This probably is not her strongest effort, but it offers a stand-alone glimpse into a middle-school-safe dystopian world easily digested in about 200 pages. I especially enjoyed Tessa's growth over the course of the story.
