Reggie was a rake with women, ggambling, and drinking because he was no longer the heir to the Earldom as he was brought up to be. Abbey was the very capable steward of his childhood home that was finally bestowed on him, but she was also running from her past and her true identity as a duke's daughter. An immediate attraction springs up between them, with them both fighting it. But as time goes by, they get to know each other, and he can't stop his overwhelming urge to touch her, the first kiss promises more for both of them. Alcoholism is found and dealt with, a new family is formed, a home is rebuilt, class differences are ignored, and a great love blooms. Great read!!
