it was amazing

Prepare catches readers and pulls them into the story. Darren Kiel, a scientific genuis, has grown up and saw his father's misconduct and corruption. His father's crimes have stayed with Darren. Due to traveling to Orchard District of the city, Darren saw more crime, violence, poverty, and desperation in the district.

Darren went on a crusade to fight crime in the Orchard District with his friend Sam. Darren was to save one person at a time to avoid detection but as he saw the injustice, he abandoned his promise to Sam and started saving as many people as he can. This attracted up attention to the police and the media of a man in a long coat and hat. Even the gang in the district declared war on him except his identity is unknown.

Prepare goes back and forth from the present to Darren's past of how he was influence to being a vigilante. Readers can't help but like Darren because of his noble characteristic traits of trying to fix the system that the police and courts couldn't fix. The story also brings up on whether Darren's crusade is sustainable that most stories don't bring up. This is one of the things I love about this book. It also brings up the philosophical discussion is the ends justified the means. This book is worth reading.
