really liked it
Read in July, 2012

Harsh, thought-provoking, strong ending that totally surprised me, and made me rethink other parts of the book. Parts a bit slow, parts really creepy, parts I had very little sympathy for characters - but that was part of the point. Really a harsh read for me. Rated highly for being thought-provoking & execution of plot - not for "enjoyment". Not a fun read.

Sheri this is high on my list, I'm going to read it this year.

Martine Taylor Sheri, you will have to let me know what you think. I felt like I wanted to talk about this with a friened who is a mom and a reader after I read it. Maybe we will have to go have wine & munchies & discuss next time you are in town. :)

Sheri And if after this heavy read, you want to try something light and fluffy that also makes you think about motherhood, you could try "What Alice Forgot."
