Another very, very light "beach read" that was so badly written that it was laughable!

The sweet Southern mother who was such a "glam" girl seemed to me to simply be an alcoholic!!!!!!
Everyone seemed to "jump on the bandwagon" with her each night to "drink, drink, drink". All was seen as normal behavior!!

Two of the characters worked in Medicine as a doctor and a nurse respectivly yet when there were medical emergencies they seemed "clueless" about how to help the victims.

Many other examples, but I will only bore you with 2.

The only thing positive that I can say about the book was that the futility of the war in Afghanistan was highlighted. The nurse in the book had tried in humanitarian ways to help the women and children of Afghanistan while she was serving tours of duty in the US Army in Afghanistan.
