Favorite Lines:
Annik (teacher) to Lena: "You've got to draw the chair." (wheel chair) ~ Search a person for what matters to them. Don' judge them on a surface level.
Tibby: "Try, reach, want and you may fall. But even if you do, you might be okay anyway.
Bridget: "Sex could be a blissful communion. But it could also be a weapon, and its absence, sometimes, was required for the establishment of peace."
"Tibby knew a thing or two about leaps." (So do I.)
"And so they jumped together." (true partnership)

1. "My girls" are growing up!
2. Tibby's and Carmen's story.
3. Lena's newfound independence.
4. Again, the pace makes it hard to put down.

1. Carmen was again "slappable" for the entire first half of the story.
2. Tibby was so inconsolable throughout. Poor Brian.
3. The Pants were practically written out for several chapters. Phased out, I suppose, to show how it's really NOT about them.

What a fabulous story of friendship. I've learned much about how to appreciate it more. I've also been reminded how important independence and feeling comfortable in your own skin is.

Galatial - very, very slow speed
