What an incredibly emotional read and so brilliantly put together.

I'm not saying this is an easy read because it's about a violent attack and brutal rape. And it's especially difficult to read because this is like the raw, uncut version of a movie - Lois shares her thoughts and feelings as she jotted them down at the time of the incident.

I admire Lois for her courage. She fought back.

I am halfway through reading this story so I'm still seeing Lois in the early stages of grief and post-traumatic stress - ANGER, REPULSION and FEAR are still the predominating feelings.

However, I've heard Lois speak about this and I know where she's going and I can already feel a sense of HOPE and the PERSPECTIVE that will lead to Lois forgiving her assailant. If you or any of your loved one's has ever been raped or attacked, this is a must-read.
