** spoiler alert ** I still can’t really recommend these books. They’re not very “redeeming.” They are kind of a waste of Mommy’s time. But for what they are, they are indeed well-written, and they are fun to read, and yes, I will be reading book 3, eventually. The first two have definitely been very fast reads (thank God). I very much enjoyed book 2, perhaps more than book 1. The development of the Jacob character was charming and nice. Rivals are good for stories (not so good in real life, which is part of what’s fun about books). It was funny to read Bella’s broken heart. So teenagerish! So dramatic. She clearly thinks HER love is superior to all others, which is exactly how I felt about me and my dear husband when we were that young. It made me laugh and smile. I enjoyed yelling at Bella’s foolishness throughout the book. She’s losing my respect in this book, I guess.
