I wonder if I was reading the wrong book or I was expecting something completely different from the blurb, as others seem to like what they got.
I can´t say the writing is anything but good. But honestly there was no story here.
A young man who watches way too much porn, doesn’t have a job still manages to get 120 GBP to pay for an escort, plus train and Hotel mind you, because he wants to blow someone and is too afraid of doing it to one of the guys, that usually do it for free, by the barracks.
He doesn´t have a job or any money at all but cigarettes and booze are always available.
Maybe is just me but it did not feel real at all.
Like I said the writing is not bad, the story lacks plot and development.
The blurb is misleading.
I don’t like giving bad reviews, I don´t do it normally but with this one I can´t help it.
I have to absolutely hate a book to give it one star, here because of the writing style it lives up to two stars.
