Camilla's Reviews > Scott Pilgrim, Volume 3: Scott Pilgrim & The Infinite Sadness
I feel like this was nearly exactly the same as the first two. The art is decent, the jokes are good, but the story isn't really going anywhere in this one. We learn a little about Scott's past and Ramona's is hinted at, but other than that there's no character development.
The way it started off, I wondered if I had accidentally picked up Volume Four and missed something, but soon the plot got moving. The characters are hard to tell apart, especially from far away, but they're cutely drawn in a sort of North American manga style. Flashbacks occur seemingly at random with no warning. It was an okay book. It didn't make me want to stop reading the series; I'm still interested. But it wasn't great, despite a few pretty great moments.
