Series (1-5): 7/5/12 - 8/10

The Wool Omnibus is a collection of 5 shorter stories. It tells the story of a post-apocalyptic society that lives in silos outside of the uninhabitable world outside. The writing was pretty haunting and foreboding, with lots of unclear mysterious details that keep you guessing and reading more. It's very readable but with a kind of detached storytelling. The characters are OK, but not too deep and some of the romantic relationships are a bit simplistic and contrived. The ending of the fifth left a bit to be desired. It was OK but didn't live up to the build up and seemed like a bit too much exposition. I did enjoy the read though.
