We read Witness together as a class during seventh grade English. I remember that a few of us got to read aloud, switching every time the narration changed. For some reason, my English teacher must have liked my voice for the little girl's (can't recall her name) narration because she always asked me if I wanted to read that part. Truthfully, that's the only concrete thing I remember about this book other than that the topic is about racism. I might not have enjoyed reading the story, but I don't think I ever disliked it.
