This was an interesting story about 4 strong women and the bonds they forge while watching Meryl Streep movies.

You meet Kat, a lovely baker in love with the boy next door since she was a child, raised by her mother along with her two cousins after their parents and her father die in a car crash. She knows one thing, she wants to open her own bakey but that's about it.

Isabel-- one of the cousins, whose marriage just fell apart but she's bound and determined to make a new start.

June-- Isabel's beautiful, smart, younger sister who just so happens to be a single mother as well.

They are brought back together when Lolly-- their aunt/Kat's mom has a big announcement, one that not only shocks the entire family but brings them closer than they ever thought they'd be.

The conversations and twists their lives take was enjoyable to read and I was sad when the book ended. It was like being transported into another world, one with lovely sunsets, precious moments and love-- which most books do have, but this was a different type of love. Love between family, friends and found in unexpected places.
