liked it

Hush was way too over-the-top for me. I liked Acadia and Zak and their chemistry, but the situations they're placed in drove me bananas. Acadia is very safe (despite being raised by a soldier), yet she's brought along everything that one might need to survive an abduction in a foreign country. Even though she's "safe" and is taking this trip at the urging of her girlfriends, she keeps up with Zak and doesn't complain.

And what is the deal with people fighting for their lives while naked? This is the third book I've either read or heard about where this happens.

When Zak begins to see coordinates to his brother's location at the book's midpoint, Hush ran off the rails for me. Add to that the bad guy's trail of destruction, the reasoning behind said trail, and who the bad guy is, and I had to motivate myself to finish the final chapters.

Can "eh" and a shrug be a grade?
