it was amazing

I love David Sedaris audiobooks. His distinct voice - written and reading - is a balm these days. Oddly soothing given that his humour often has a laid bare honesty or slightly discomforting tinge. But he’s so freaking slice of life, musing out loud funny. And the American in France content of this volume is great, along with recollections of his family. What a crew.

Carla One of my favourites of his! One of the first I read of his as well. It's my #1 humour book of all time. Hilarious.

Rosemary It’s the first one I read too. Loved it. I then made the mistake of lending it to my mother. I think it’s true to say she did not love it. And that’s putting it mildly...

Carla That's pretty funny Rosemary! haha
