really liked it
bookshelves: fiction, indian, animal-story, fantasy

Quite an interesting read and left me wondering in the end, which is always a good sign.

It is about a boy who grows up as the son of a zoo director, and lives within the zoo. His family decides to move and then there is a shipwreck and he ends up in a lifeboat with some of the animals, including a tiger he is mostly terrified of. but the ending is the twist, as usual, and I can't say much because I don't want to spoil it, but it turns everything else in the book upside out. didn't see it coming either!
I give it a pretty good read.
