did not like it

Okay, here's the thing. I am biased. I mostly like books when i can relate to them. Sure i read teen novels and some children...because i was there once. I read twenty something chicklits because i can totally see myself in most of those not-so-perfect, obsessive, clumsy, slightly-deranged protagonists ...yes, i also read fantasy books i can never really relate to ( I dont have any magical power/super power/ genetic deformity-turn-advantage, destiny etc) but they are highly amusing...and this book, however, was NOT.
Really maybe after every 5-10 pages i would catch something slightly interesting...mostly the communication between the subject and the researcher...even that got boring and repetitive with time. I dont know, the life of a 40 something year old woman having a midlife crisis with a possibility of affair speaking continuously about her life, her husband, her children, her past, her feelings etc may be an interesting topic for some other demographic...but it just wasn't for me...
I suppose the ending was somewhat climatic...but by then i was so bored that i couldn't care less.
