Okay, I didn't really read this book. I have ordered the movie and will then tell you what I thought. The reading was just too laborious. I know I have read more interesting Steinbeck books but this one I just couldn't make myself persist in reading.

I watched the movie and now know why I didn't finish the book. Pretty depressing to learn about the challenges that people out west had in trying to make a living and how they were treated in the process.

Scalacpa I remember in my days with black thoughts and Robert via chuck guided me to Jacque Berger. A few years into meeting with Jacque, I guess she was tired of my moaning, she gave me the assignment of watching the grapes of wrath.
