I still don't know what to think about this book. I picked it up because it has won several awards and I was interested in what a good graphic novel would be like. It was... interesting. The author says so much through the illustrations that it really draws you in. The story itself could never have been told in words. He pokes a lot of fun at stereotypes and prejudices and what it's like to be in junior high for everyone. He tells three seperate, outrageous stories that eventually come together in the end, revealing a fantastic connection I would never have predicted. I guess I need to read it again, because I still don't think I "got it".
