it was amazing
bookshelves: adult, legal-thriller
Read from June 29 to July 01, 2012

This book about the trial of Jacob, who is accused of murdering a classmate, is gripping. Told from the view point of his father the assistant district attorney this is more than a legal story. While the trial is central to the story this is the story of family, family loyalties, nature vs. nurture, and morality. How far will a parent go to support their child should support come at any cost? What happens if parents don't see eye to eye? Great read for the fans of legal stories but also a family story.
