One of the best books I've ever read. It's a memoir-ish collage of marriage, gay and straight, in American culture. It's also a touching father-son story, mother-son story, and relationship story. I'm usually turned off by the bullying tone and graphic subject matter of Savage Love, but this book is sweetness, logic, and humor all the way through. Definitely a touching and thoughtful diversion. I wish it had kept on going.
