it was amazing

Interesting noir-type story that slowly slides into something darker and more lovecraftian. Very subtle. A lot of good mystery.

In the interest of full disclosure, some of the male characters looked the same to me, and that led to some slight confusion. But I was reading it late at night after going to a party, so it's perhaps unfair of me to blame that on the comic.

Overall, some great storytelling in a unique sub-genre. I'm really looking forward to the second trade.

Christa C Curse you! I wanna read this RIGHT now!!! But it's not released until October! Darn you and the ARCs you get!!! If you're looking for an entertaining and well illustrated comic check out Lacksadaisy if you haven't already. The illustrations, while a bit cutesy, are also very well drawn, and remind me a little of Eisner, but with cats... Also I love stories that take place in the prohibition era.

Patrick This isn't an ARC. I just bought it at the local comic shop....

William I had the same problem with the male characters looking the same. However, they called each other by name a lot, which I think was done on purpose to help
