it was amazing

(4.5 stars) Sure there are plot holes, sure there are inconsistencies, but the good outweighs the bad so these are not so noticeable. What I like most about this is unlike the very beginning of the series there is real character progression and growth - and even some seemingly minor characters are getting more fleshed out and changing - signaling in some cases, if my suspicions are correct, about the twists to come - if so there is some really nice foreshadowing as well.

That is the other thing, there are some more interesting twists and uncommon outcomes - some things don't play out quite as they would in a more cliched story.

Michael Thanks for reading Brian. I'm glad you've enjoyed the series. I tried to show that things don't always go as planned for "either side." For the antagonists, they certainly didn't plan to have Thrace as their Emperor, and many plans go awry for Royce/Hadiran (such as Drumindor) and Arista (getting captured). I hate movies where each plan works 100% and no one needs to adjust or change their tactics based on failures.

Thanks for reading the series.

Michael.
