really liked it
bookshelves: adult-fiction

It seems so strange to think of a novel about WWII as "light." Perhaps because the protagonist is a teenage girl. I can understand all the hype this book has been getting. It makes you think, but not by bludgeoning you over the head. Having Death as the reluctant narrator/villain just serves to make it more unique.
