Harkaway manages to dazzle and dance his way through what seems a dark and ending world to show why character is so important in stories. His tale does not end where you think it will. I borrowed this book after hearing William Gibson recommend it (fanboy check). I became strangely absorbed with the way Harkaway manages to paint such a compelling environment with deft and funny touches.
I found his pacing to be spot on and I admit that I began to tire a little of where it was all going...when it all goes astray, or goes-away. Then I was hooked for the final stretch. An entertaining read and from where I sit, I can see Angelmaker staring at me from the shelves, ready to pounce...
