liked it

I don't even know how to rate this book. It was interesting, but I have this overwhelming feeling that I just didn't get it. And maybe I have a hard time discerning art from bullshit, but I have a feeling I'm leaning towards bullshit on this one. But I could be wrong...?
It reminds a little of The Bell Jar--a neurotic 20-something-year-old woman with writer's block who sleeps with men she doesn't even want to sleep with. Spends a lot of time asking questions she can't answer (hence the title). But I loved The Bell Jar, and this just feels really weak to me. I thought I would relate really well to this, but I didn't.
