liked it

Robert Stone handled these themes better forty years ago in 'Dog Soldiers' but this is a well done genre meditation on Drugs(as a metaphor for the poisonous blowback from our Imperial Over-reach)Sex(the three-way relationship among the two men and their woman is much more explicit here)and Business(the corruption and extreme violence endemic to unfettered Capitalism) and,because it gives a convincing back-story to the characters from 'Savages', it's much more satisfying than that piece of Pop Nihilism...
