I think Revelations was more of a filler novel. Things happened in this one that set it up for the next installment. The glom plot hole and other things that were not explained yet you were THROWN into them anyways. This series is best enjoyed when you don't think about things too much. It's like a summer blockbuster. The mythology is the strongest aspect of this whole series and unfortunately, Melissa De La Cruz is not the best writer out there and you could tell at some points she didn't plan ahead and things seemed last minute and rushed. Although, it is enjoyable and entertaining. Do I recommend buying this series? No, not really. But it's a good entertaining library read for the summertime.
