A recent find and now in my top 10 fav's of current picture books. The prose in this book goes along beautifully with the illustrations which are painted on plywood and just adorable. School Library Journal says, "this story affirms the necessity of turning off the light and noise of our busy world to truly recognize the everyday marvels around us." This book is about a curious girl who loves all there is to see and do in nature, but most of all, she just wants to talk to the moon.
