really liked it

I read the whole thing in one day--I couldn't put it down--but throughout that day, I found myself thinking, over and over, "She is so smart. She is SO smart!" The way one little thread would unravel a knot in one place and tie up a bow in another amazed me. I can't imagine how much research and back-and-forth was involved in writing Timepiece. I love the change in voice/POV--I thought I'd be bothered by it but it didn't take anything away from the story or take me out of the mood at all. Kaleb wasn't my favorite in Hourglass--I loved Michael's gentlemanly ways--but Myra knew which character needed to tell which stories, and she made the perfect choice. Now I'm just as smitten with Kaleb as I was with Michael in Hourglass. Perfect example of there being two sides to every story! I also love the expanded role that Lily has in Timepiece; I liked her from the start in Hourglass and am so glad to see her return in a big way!
