** spoiler alert ** This book was great to read.
It is about a teenage boy, names Jack, whos parents are separated. At first, he dosent know why. Then, he and his father go out on a boat in the middle of the lake, and his father tells Jack that he is gay. Knowing that his own father was gay turned Jack into a homophobe, which he previously wasnt. He used to stick up for the boy in gym class that everyone made fun off, calling him queer. That all changed once he found out that he was made from a gay man.
This changes Jack's lie forever, and it changes hiw thoughts on life. The remainder of te book is about how Jack deals with everything, and how he gets over his homphobia. By the end, he is okay with his father again, and realizes that his father can love whoever else he wants, as long as he still oves Jack.
