This is a fun short mystery that features Detective John Corey, a lead character in some of Nelson Demille's novels. If you've yet to meet Corey, this is a great introduction.

This is a short story, and therefore doesn't have as much detail and character development as some readers would like. I found it perfect for its length. The story made me laugh, had me guessing a bit, and was thoroughly entertaining.

I do think it's a little overpriced at $1.99, since it is so short. This one was lent to me by a family member who'd purchased it.
