really liked it
bookshelves: colors

I thought that this book was a good way to introduce primary and secondary colors to children. This was a cute book about 3 clever mice who explored colors of paint. They saw the jars of paint and thought they were 'mouse paint'. The yellow, blue, and red being the primary colors and they 'danced' in the puddles that they made to make the secondary colors of purple, orange, and green. To help the children explore more with primary and secondary colors by pointing out what the primary colors are and the secondary colors are. By introducing this language to them, they will hopefully use these new words appropriately.
