it was amazing
bookshelves: graphicnovels

One of the best non-superhero graphic novels out there. Three seemingly separate tales that all come together at the end. I just love a nice punch at the end that makes me think (or say out loud): "Wow, that's good." One story tells the tale of the Monkey King of mythical China. Another the trials and tribulations of an American-Chinese boy moving to a new school. The last story features the stereotypical Chinese character of early film with the bucked teeth and traditional garb. He is an unwanted visitor to his cousin's house and school. Read this one; it's great!
