really liked it
bookshelves: own, favorite
Read from May 07 to 12, 2013 — I own a copy

Ok, after a couple of really busy days while reading the 13th and last book of the Sookie Stackhouse series, Dead Ever After, I was finally able to commit to finishing it to the end without any interruptions. Of course that meant I had to stay up until 2 in the morning to do it, but I'll take it.

As for the book itself, I cannot say anything without revealing any spoilers. I wish I could, but I won't ruin it for the rest of you. But, I will say a few things. All these haters ripping the book (and the author) apart by giving only one star and writing scathing reviews... they're being ridiculous. The book may not have started out well (because of all the bad things happening with Sookie), but by the end, I was happy. Sookie really does get a happily ever after. She gets everything she always dreamt and she is happy. That is what is important, people. We all should be so lucky to get the same thing.

My favorite line of the whole book... "I don't want you grateful. I want you mine." *happy sigh*

Geri Sanchez I agree, she does get a happy ending and she very well deserves it after everything that she has gone through and after all...he has always been there for her!!! (oops, I hope I didn't give anything away...heehee)
