it was ok
bookshelves: apocalyptic-dystopian

** spoiler alert ** It was very slow in the beginning, most of the story was told in a narrative format and not scene based. halfway through it picked up more and I enjoyed it more. The author is fairly new, I believe, and her writing style seems almost collegiate and not exactly from her heart. Her grammar and vocabulary were exceptional. But it felt cold. Especially in the beginning and towards the end again. The middle part when Asher joined them, seemed warmer.

The adults acceptance of a 13 year old leader... still not buying that one. Nor that Eden's leader would recognize her as an equal. The adults have vast years of experience to back up their knowledge - she spent a few months in training. I understand Fi is the main character, I just felt forced to accept that she was the leader.

I will be getting her new book, because I aam curious of what will be happening in Fi and Asher's world.
