really liked it
bookshelves: booker-prize-winners, literary-fiction, religion, set-in-a-small-town, contemporary-fiction

I did not expect to like it as much as I did. It was very well written. I would have liked to know what really was the matter with Ritu, but it was a minor concern that did not hinder my enjoyment of the book in any way. Overall, the book was also quite respectful to India, even with the heat and the dust.
