really liked it

Greg falls in love in this story and Rodrick and Greg bond became a lot stronger. All started when Greg was skating and saw a girl that caught his attention. He's been trying to talk to her during school every time. But they got to know each other really well at his grandparent's place. Greg and Rodrick's bond got stronger through out the book. For example they had a party together and Rodrick invited his friends when he wasn't suppose to. His parents were out. next morning they were coming back home and they barely have enough time to clean up all the mess they had. They did anyways. They promise each other that they won't tell anyone. The really important part was when they have a concern Rodrick really want to go and perform but he can't because he was grounded for having a party. But Greg sacrifice himself and made a deal with his mom. That he will perform with Rowley on the magic show only if she lets Rodrick perform in the music concern.
This book shows a lot of nice relationship and connection with brothers. Greg was nice enough to offer his help and show that he loves his older by sacrificing himself. It wasn't really consider as a sacrifice because they Greg didn't really give up anything to help. At the end of it, it was a win win situation. The magic show was a big hit and so it the rock band concern perform by Rodrick.
