Little Buggy by Kevin O'Malley

A father teaches his son to fly.

What I really like about this O'Malley title is the tenacity of the younger that readers might infer has come from previous lessons. No spoilers, but we see the junior bug continue to climb up the grass blade before we hear the encouragement of the father.

Text is set in speech balloons with large paneled illustrations making LITTLE BUGGY a "ladder" for later graphic novel reads.

A super lesson in growth and new experiences. A super example of celebration of father/son relationships.
