There are some serious factual errors with Alexander II-Russian history, which really annoy me.

The capital and cultural center of Russia during Alexander II's reign was St. Petersburg, not Moscow. The Tsar lived in and reigned from St. Petersburg, not Moscow. The Winter Palace is located in St. Petersburg, not Moscow. Reading the author's note at the end, it's clear lots of it was well-researched, but that "the mid-nineteeth century is a bit of a blank." What a crock of horse shit. I took a class on Imperial Russian history in college that discussed the era quite thoroughly.

That being said, I do like this series and will continue with it.
