really liked it

A really enjoyable/engaging/charming novel. Alice bumps her head and forgets the past 10 years of her life, which include the births of 3 children, dramatic change in almost all the relationships in her life, and a pretty drastic transformation of her character itself. The last thing she remembers is being 29 and pregnant with her first baby, but she is confronted with the reality of a very different life and very different relationships. I thought it was a great exploration of themes like loss, marriage, change, life in your 20s versus life in your 30s, motherhood, the nature of relationships, infertility, the rise of the "super mom", etc. The Australian setting was fun, and overall it's just a great summer fiction read.
