Beautiful art. Truly stunning color. But I guess it's been a long time since I've read the X-verse; I was a little lost. I used to read all the x-titles in the 90's. I still have several comic book boxes to prove it. But, a lot has changed since then and while I know the Dark Phoenix Saga, I'm less current on what's going on these days. Last I heard, Emma Frost was still a bad guy, not married to Scott. And I didn't even know who Quentin Quire was.

Still, it's a really high quality book and for those who are more up-to-date on the storyline, I bet it makes much more sense. LOL I am a long-time fan of Jean Grey/Phoenix (she's my favorite X-Men) and it was neat to revisit that well, even if it wasn't perfect.
