An enormous monster goes to great lengths to persuade everyone that there are monsters and that he is scary. His visibility campaign includes spraypainting the overpasses and walls, sending up balloons with flyers, juggling five cows, and pulling a tree up by its roots. Just when he's ready to admit that monsters aren't real, another monster takes him by the hand and joins his campaign. This is a strange title and illustrations that make the monsters seem more appealing than frightening. I'm not sure what its message is, but I know young readers will like seeing the first monster's antics as he tries to be recognized.
