really liked it

A beautifully written and emotionally charged account of a teacher in Iran bringing the messages of freedom, destiny and hope to her students through literature. I hadn't read most of the classic novels they discussed, but even so, it is a brilliant literary analysis as well as a fascinating insight into a complicated culture so few in the West understand.
