Honest and powerful book. At times like a car accident - you couldn't pull yourself away from looking, even though you knew you would be upset by the visual image. There were times I wanted to peak ahead to see how things would turn out and other times I had to close the book for a few minutes because I was caught in the emotional storm. I felt the emotions and pain of the characters. Great book about families, love, sisterhood. Well done. Ironically one of my favorite characters was the sister Sylvia - loved her personality and dialogue. I highly recommend this book. Even though Facebook has nothing to do wtih this book, I believe that so many "relationships" and "crushes" from our past are revisited due to the ease of social media. This book shows how our preoccupation in reinventing or reliving past relationships can be detrimental to those we love in real life. A wake up call.
