it was amazing
bookshelves: to-read

I loved this book. I am addicted to this series and yes I have my favourites among the series but I particularly liked this one as it moved into a slightly different direction. I liked the fact that they got serious about each other pretty much from the beginning. Sometimes the Alpha male angst can get tedious. I also liked seeing her providing a stable family background for Thorn/Azami it will be interesting to see how that plays out in later books with the Ghostwalker family. I enjoyed seeing the other characters from team 1 and I liked the whole double for Whitney which of course makes the job of putting a stop to him way harder. The only thing that was hmm for me was the whole Sam being incredibly intelligent but under the radar. However, I do need to read it again more slowly and see if it falls into place. Nice instalment which moves things forward and has enough new things to want to look forward to the next book
