I received this from Goodreads. It is a good book. She tells the story of a young widow who has a girl come forth saying she is the daughter of the women's husband. The author tells the story using each character's view including the dogs. It builds each character and you get to know how they feel as well as why they do things. It is not appropriate for those under 17 as it has foul language in parts and describes child abuse. I would recommend it for those who have or will work with children who have been in the foster system.
