OK, this author just makes me chuckle. After reading the first book Demon Hunting in Dixie, I had to download this one the day it came out. Again fluffier than cotton candy (not the black, dead demon kind of course) and even sillier than the first in terms of the plot and characters, but also sexy and loads of fun.

This book follows the story Evie (small town southern belle) and Ansgar (demon slayer from another world) from the first book. We left them with Ansgar "killing" Evie to rid her of a demon and bringing her to life--making her not quite human. Wiping her memory of his existence, he tries to forget her but can't stay away any longer especially when he needs to protect her when the town mean girl is murdered and all evidence points to Evie.

If you like paranormal, mixed with sexy romance and some Southern sass--you'll have fun with this one. Can't wait for the next.
