it was amazing

I really have to hand it to my daughter, she recommended another great book!

This piece of historical fiction deals with the side of WWII that we do not hear about, the occupation of Korea by the Japanese. Written from the narrative of two siblings, it shows how much of their heritage, identity and, yes, belongings were taken from them. We see the daily struggles of this family, the growth of these kids and how they secretly fight or defy the regime they are forced to live under. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, not just for school!
